On April 4, Base Construction Conference of JLBRI was held at School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Anhui Jianzu University.The conference was hosted by JLBRI and organized by its Anhui Base. Director of the Joint Laboratory Wu Yongfa, Deputy Director Wu Yao, National Specially-Recuited Expert and Chief Scientist Shen Jinghua, Principal of Anhui Research Base Wu Yunfa and Zhou Zhenchuan, Principal of Shanxi Research Base Wang Jinping and delegate Li Feng, Principal of Xi'an Research Base Chen Wenliang, Principal of National Indigenous Architecture and Cultural Heritage Research Base Mai Xianmin, Principal of Fuzhou Research Base Du Feng, Principal of Yangzhou Study Base Gao Yongqing, Principal of Sinapore Global Office Zhao Xiuling, and Principal of Portugal Global Office Wu Jie, as well as core members from 6 bases and 2 global offices attended the meeting.    

The objecives of the conference is to promote regional collaboration among bases and futher enable the development of cultural heritage conservation research. The Joint Laboratory demands bases to bring characteristic regional cultural heritage resources into fullplay and produce cutting-edge results through joint research. The conference marks the progress of the construction of JLBRI as an innovative and open platform on the national basis. The Joint Laboratory expects to involve more academic institutions in the construction of international cultural heritage conservation along the "Belt and Road" region in the future.
