Delegations of JLBRI (Évora ) Visited JLBRI (Headquarters) for Promoting Joint Research on the National Key R&D Project and Tripartite Operations

From April 15 to 21, Professor António CandeiasDirector of JLBRI(Évora), Associate Professor Ana Teresa Caldeira Vice-Director of JLBRI ((Évora), and Full Researcher of JLBRI (Évora) Nicola Schiavon and Teresa Reis visited JLBRI (Headquarter) and Shanxi Research Base. This visit aims to update progress in the joint research on the National Key R&D Project and promote tripartite co-construction of the Joint Laboratory.

On April 17, the Signing Ceromony for Agreement on the Integral Cooperation for Domestic and International Tripartite Operations of JLBRI was held. This integrated cooperation mechanism for domestic and international tripartite operations aims to enhance efficient communication and collaboration in the field of China-Portugal cultural heritage conservation science, accelerate the integration of talent resources among the three regions, and promote a management mechanism formulated to facilitate the coordinated development of cultural heritage conservation along the ''One Belt and One Road'' Initiative.

During the visit, delegations of Évora carried out series of lectures on analysis of new materials on cultural heritage restoration, workshops, and site samplings.
