During June 14 to 16, delegates of JLBRI, led by Yongfa Wu, Director of JLBRI and Dean of Gold Mantis School of Architecture, and Yao Wu,  Deputy Director of JLBRI and Deputy Dean of Gold Mantis School of Architecture, visted Univeristy of Évora in Portugal to strengthen cooperation in talent cultivation, team building, and scientific research between the headquarters and team in Évora. Professor António Candeias, Director of JLBRI (Évora) accompanied the delegation to visit University of Évora, the Hercules Laboratory, and Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC). This visit played an essential role in advancing the internation cooperation of JLBRI and lay the foundation of the normalization of exchange visits between teams in Suzhou and Évora. 

JLBRI will carry out joint trainings of doctoral students, deepen cooperation in academic and scientific research, and initiate exchange programs between faculty staff and students to boost the development and communication in cultural heritage conservation science among the Belt and Road regions.
