Dr. Ju is nowa lecturer of School of Architecture, Soochow University .

Dr. Ju’s courses include history of ancient Chinese architecture, traditional architectural form and craft, and conservation design of traditional buildings. His research interests focus on the history of vernacular architecture, the shape and technology of traditional timber structure, regeneration of rural landscape, and pedigree of vernacular architecture.

Dr. Ju’ｓongoing academic project  Research on the Regional System and Inheritance Mechanism of Southern Dong's Construction Skills Based on the Vernacular Architecture Pedigree”is supported d by the humanities and social science project of the Ministry of Education.He has published a series of  works, including the major achievement “Study on the Pedigree of Southern Dong Vernacular Architecture”.
