On January 6, Professor Stephen Morgan, Rector of University of St. Joseph Macau, Professor Zhang Shuguang, Vice Rec, and Chen Ni, Associate Professor of the University of Macau visited Soochow University. Accompanied by the Deputy Director of the JLBRI, he held talks and exchanges with Vice President Li Xiaofeng and Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and other leaders of Soochow University. 

After the meeting, Stephen Morgan and his delegation went to JLBRI for exchange and research, accompanied by Professor Wu Yongfa, Dean of the School of Architecture of Soochow University and Director of the JLBRI, and core members of the joint laboratory. 

After listening to the research results of the JLBRI, Rector Morgan and his delegation praised the operation mode of the deep integration of industry, learning and research of the joint laboratory. Vice Rector Zhang Shuguang said that the strategic synergy and realization of scientific research vision and application prospect is the best solution to optimize resource allocation, ensure the landing of scientific research and support industrial innovation. He hopes to cooperate with the joint laboratory in personnel training and discipline construction in the future, and integrate and gather the talent resources and scientific research strength of both sides. 

President Morgan and his delegation visited the Architectural Model Laboratory, the International Research Center of Green Building, the Digital Research Center of Cultural Heritage and the Exhibition Center of Ancient Architecture Decoration Crafts.
